For Fès el-Bali: its UNESCO-listed medina, traditional workshops, tanneries, madrasas and food. The city is inland and has no beach or marina.

No. Merzouga is a long road journey across the Middle Atlas. A two-day tour is rushed; three days gives the route and camp more time.
Meknès is roughly an hour by road and combines naturally with Volubilis and Moulay Idriss. Chefchaouen usually makes a substantially longer day.
The Middle Atlas begins south of the city and is reached on excursions via Ifrane and Azrou. Fès itself is inland and has no beach.
